Hi I run a breastfeeding drop in in a children’s centre in Borehamwood, Herts and it would be fantastic to get some of your wonderful posters for the drop in. How do I order some?
Many thanks
Lisa

This is Fab!! Danielle is my Daughter and does look fabulous….This campaign is not about pressurising women to look good its about feeling good about what you are doing and that radiances from inside.Be proud of these young women that are helping to promote something that is hard to promote to young people as they see it as frumpy and an old mum thing to do.
Well done girls x

more pressure on us as women to look glamorous-even when knackered and trying to just feed our babies-thanks!?
Would say these pics are great for those who look good-but for some of us, airbrushed images of women with perfect ridiculously glowing skin, looking great while breastfeeding is just so far from reality…
Tamesha Valverde // Aug 27, 2009 at 5:08 pm
I think this campaign is awesome! The whole concept is cutting edge and a great way to promote breastfeeding to the younger generation. As a breastfeeding mom of two boys (breastfeed 4yrs 2mos total); it is a breath of fresh air to see breastfeeding looked at as glamorous… because it is! As a Breastfeeding Advocate and Lactation Educator… I believe the campaign has the potiential to educate and promote breastfeeding in a way the could help the US in increasing our breastfeeding rates… Keep doing the awesome job out there in the UK!

Hi
I work for Little Angels in Pontefract Hospital, we are looking at doing a board to promote Little Angels and Breast Feeding. We think your Posters are a great advert for Breast feeding. Is it possible for us to have a set to use.
Kind regards
Jo

Fantastic pics and an awesome campaign! Well done!! I’m a volunteer with a breastfeeding support group in Saltash, Cornwall (Upfront). We’d like to do something similar. How do we go about getting permission? Well done all. It gives breastfeeding mums the credit they deserve!

At last someone else who is trying to make breastfeeding attractive and not frumpy.
We found it so difficult to find funky nursing tops so we started our own company:
http://www.mamafeelsgood.com really does blow the mold of whats avaialble for breastfeeding tops

Wow what an incredible site - well done! I breastfed both of my daughters despite receiving a fair amount of negative attention when feeding in public. This inspired me to launch Baby BuBu - an online boutique that specialises in stylish accessories designed to make breastfeeding in public that little bit easier and to make mums look fabulous while they are doing so!

Hi, I am part of a breast feeding peer support group, and found this all amazing. The pictures are fantastic. Are they available to use?
Taj // Aug 31, 2008 at 9:50 pm
p.s - are you working with our boroughs to try extending this campaign to other areas? It would be such a good idea.
Taj // Aug 31, 2008 at 9:48 pm
This idea is great and I wish this would be rolled out across more areas. I choose to breastfeed my baby, but my biggest issue was that I could not find any good nursing clothes which looked good and gave me confidence with my new ’shape’ so I set up my own online store sellling breastfeeding clothes that I would wear. Breastfeeding has so many benefits and the easier we make it for woman to feed the better - having the confidence to feed in public without exposing my flab was key! I love your mums - they look like models. Im going to add a link to my site - http://www.milkbug.co.uk

I came across you website by chance. I am a breastfeeding advisor at Bassetlaw Hospital and was putting together a poster to encourage mums to breastfeed. Am I allowed to use the pictures within my hospital
I think your campaign is such a brilliant idea and will have a really positive impact on encouraging women especially teenagers to breastfeed

I loooooove it! Your mums have done a fantastic job and the pictures are great. I work in Great Yarmouth and we have a lot of young mums who would benefit from this campain. Do you think we could use some of your resources here too?

Hi - I work for a health unit in Northern Ontario, Canada. We are very impressed with your wonderful campaign - it’s really innovative and definitely meets the target audience of youger moms. We would like to do something similar in our community. Would you please forward this comment to the appropriate person for permission? Many thanks - and congratulations to you and the mothers for such an awesome job! Norma

Absolutely fantastic. Saw them in St Georges and think that they are so positive. As a youth worker would love to use the images for future work with young people and to support breastfeeding awareness week. Well done to all involved!!!

Hi there, I’m a mum who had real problems breast feeding and found it difficult to know who to turn to for help. My daughter, who is now grown up and had her own first baby, has found this FANTASTIC little book called The Greatest Breastfeeding Tips in the World (by Beth Cooper). It gives so much comforting advice and help, it encouraged my daughter to persevere with breastfeeding and now she really enjoys it. Please visit the website she bought the book from - the greatest in the world . com

This is a lovely website! It would be great though to see information about baby-led weaning in the weaning section.

This is great as a mum that breastfed my two children for a total of 3 years! Its great. This is the promotion breastfeeding needs.
Keep up the good work!

I am a Lactation Consultant in Australia, I was sent info about your website by a colleague and had to check it out. Fabulous work!!!! Just what we are all working so hard to teach mums - breastfeeding is the norm. Congratulations to you all, you are sending a really positive message even further than you realise - International Super Stars!!!

A fantastic campaign.
We’ve featured you on TheBabyWebsite and linked back to you.

Anything that helps promote the idea of breastfeeding as cool to the next generation of mums has got to be good.
Congratulations and good luck!

Hi, I love your website and the images of breastfeeding women are fabulous. I’m a volunteer breastfeeding counsellor in Australia with the Australian Breastfeeding Association. I’d like to see an easy way to share this website with online friends. Some sort of link like “send to a friend” that I’ve seen on other websites would be great. Congratulations to all involved!
Ingeborg Roorda // Apr 9, 2008 at 6:59 pm
Congratulations on your fantastic campaign!
We were also wondering whether we would be able to purchase the posters to be used in North America - where we face similar issues with low breastfeeding rates among teenage and young mothers.
Thank you!
Joy // Apr 7, 2008 at 12:07 pm
Please may we use these fantastic pictures to promote breast feeding in Breast Feeding awareness week?
Pamela Morrison IBCLC // Mar 21, 2008 at 2:00 pm
Wow - this campaign is really brilliant. The pictures of all the lovely young mums are - yes - awesome. Who would not want to breastfeed after seeing these lovely role-models, all so pretty, so up to the minute, so happy with their babies, and with what they’re doing!
Absolutely brilliant!!
Well done - this is really clever, really positive, and definitely the way forward. The idea of specially targetting various messages at those close to the mother is inspired! How about carrying this even further in the future, and doing some more pictures of lovely mothers with beautiful babies aimed at doctors, nurses, hospitals employers and - yes - even MPs and policy-makers?
So impressed. Mark my words - this campaign will go far!

Are we allowed to reproduce these images?
I have a blog that gets over 200 hits p/day for people searching for breast feeding advice & would LOVE to be allowed to use them…?
Emma // Mar 16, 2008 at 7:21 am
Would you mind if these images were printed off for display in baby clinics/ clinics around North London?
Anna Bailey // Mar 14, 2008 at 2:09 pm
I am so impressed by the images of the mummy’s, they all look totally stunning and should be very proud of themselves, breastfeeding is an amazing opportunity to give your baby a good start and have lots of cuddles!! I think this campaign should be national!! Is it up on the mat wrads as inspiration?? Its fab well done to all involved! Anna. x

I heard the advertisement on Rock FM and was most impressed, to be honest I nearly crashed my car driving home from work, but what a fantastic advertising campaign, especially when the ‘voice over’ I heard was a man. The website is fantastic and congratulations to the mummies in the pictures you should be so proud!!
Alex S-J // Mar 10, 2008 at 9:24 pm
Saw these poster in ST Georges Centre on Sat and thought they were fab, my husband spotted them first and he thought they were great too. Super star mummies. Breastfeeding rocks!
Sue Henry // Mar 7, 2008 at 6:23 pm
This is a really fantastic, in fact , the best I have ever seen, way of promooting breastfeeding to younger, caucasion women. Congratulations to the mothers who have been photographed- you really are stars!
